On Sunday, June 29, 2014, Christ the King held a single worship service at 9:30 am. The Drop-In choir at worship that weekend included musicians who represented both the Sunday contemporary and Sunday traditional services. After worship the Parents Of Sunday School Youth (P.O.S.S.Y) presented their second “Shine the Light” event with music, games, and food for everyone. Christian country-western singer Russ Nottingham opened the entertainment and was followed by the Christian bluegrass band Calvary’s Path.
