There is an ongoing collection of clean, gently used t-shirts, underwear, and socks to be given to clients of the Salvation Army.
Members & friends of CtK collected 527 items for the Haven of Rest Hope Totes collection of personal items. Thanks to everyone who helped!
Christ the King participates in activities that benefit members of local communities through its active Outreach Ministry. Activities include:
- Angel Tree to provide Christmas presents for a local family in need
- Annual collection of cleaning supplies for battered women’s shelter
- Hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive every eight weeks
- Ongoing collection for Salvation Army’s Bed & Bread Program
- Serving dinner at Haven of Rest, Akron, several times per year
- Maintaining a used clothing drop-off shed
