On the ELCA’s annual day of service, “God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday, 21 people assembled 63 Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief. Each Kit includes a towel, a comb, soap, a toothbrush, and nail clippers.










On Saturday, October 15, 2016, the seven boxes containing 63 Personal Care Kits destined for Lutheran World Relief were taken to Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Seville, Ohio. Jerusalem Lutheran’s chapter of Women of the ELCA sponsors an ingathering each year. A semi-tractor trailer parks in the church parking lot for the weekend for congregations to drop off Personal Care Kits, School Kits, Layettes, and Quilts to be taken to a Lutheran World Relief warehouse in Maryland.
