A group of CtK members & friends assembled 100 Lutheran World Relief school kits after worship on September 27th, as CtK celebrated “God’s Work. Our Hands.” Sunday. The project was coordinated by CtK’s Outreach Ministry. The 100 kits, each placed in a cloth backpack bag, containing pens, pencils, a pencil sharpener, an eraser, a ruler, crayons, scissors, and spiral-bound notebooks, were assembled in short order. After the work event, volunteers were treated to an enjoyable lunch. Thanks to everyone who assembled kits, provided food, and contributed money to purchase supplies. The kits will be blessed at worship on October 11th by Deaconess Almuth Koby and then delivered to Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Seville OH on October 17th at the annual Lutheran World Relief in-gathering.
