Here’s what’s happening at Christ the King:
Everyone is welcome at weekly worship on Sundays at 10:00 AM. Services are led by supply pastors. See Worship page for details.
Christ the King’s annual Pet Blessing service was held Sunday, October 4th, in the back parking lot. Pastor Bill Diehn led the service, and photos can be seen here.
For “God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday, CtK assembled 100 school kits for Lutheran World Relief (LWR) after worship on Sunday, September 27th. See photos of the kit assembly here. Monetary donations are being accepted to defray the cost of the kits. Supplies for each kit cost about $8.00. The kits will be blessed at worship on Sunday, October 11th, before being delivered to a LWR In-Gathering.
On Sunday, September 13th, CtK celebrated 45 years of music ministry led by Kevin Basom. Former staff and church members attended 10:00 AM worship to surprise Kevin with special music, a banner dedicated in his honor, and a song written by a member.
Several ongoing events are on the CtK calendar:
- Women’s Bible Study meets at 10:00 AM on Tuesdays.
- All men are invited to meet for breakfast at Fresh Start on the Twinsburg Square at 9:00 AM, usually on the first Thursday of the month. The next breakfast will be on Thursday, November 6th.
- Culture Quest dinner for October will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 28th, at Imperial Wok in Solon. A maximum of 18 people may sign up.
- Whenever there is a fifth Sunday in a month, Christ the King serves a free meal to the community. Everyone is invited to dine! The next meal will be from 4:00 to 5:30 PM on Sunday, November 30th, 2026. Here is the complete community meal schedule.
- The next quarterly AmeriQuest dinner out will be announced.
- Christ the King hosts monthly Red Cross blood drives. The next drive will be Tuesday, October 6th, from 12 PM to 6 PM.
The used clothing shed is available for your bagged donations of clothing, sheets, linens, shoes, belts, purses, and stuffed animals! Please place your donations in tied bags. For more information, see the Used Clothing Shed page.
See our current newsletters for more details about what’s happening at CtK. Typical CtK office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Call ahead (330-425-7377) outside these times to verify access to the building.
If you are interested in using a room at Christ the King for an organization, please complete this Building Use Agreement Form and submit it to office@ctktwinsburg.com or mail it to the church. The Church Council reviews all requests to determine whether or not the use is in keeping with the congregation’s mission and what, if any, fees will be charged.
