Here’s what’s happening at Christ the King:
Pastor Jeff Goggins leads drive-in worship services with Holy Communion at 9:00 AM on Sundays. The service will begin at this earlier time through August to enjoy the cooler morning weather. Join us in your car, and listen to the service on 90.1 FM on your radio. The radio signal allows you to hear the service from anywhere in the parking lot! As weather permits, worshipers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and sit outside their cars, socially distanced.
Christ the King now livestreams the 9:00 AM Sunday worship service! Go to the CtK Twinsburg channel of YouTube.com at 9:00 AM on Sundays to watch the service in real time from anywhere. You can also go to the channel during the week to watch the recorded service.
Worshipers now have the option of worshiping in the sanctuary at 9:00 AM when the livestream of the drive-in worship service is shown on the “Big Screen”! Here is Pastor Jeff’s message to the congregation regarding this new worship option.
Here’s the link to the June 4, 2021 letter from Pastor Jeff and CtK Council President Mike Coss, explaining where CtK is now, in this In-Between, transitional time.
Links to weekly worship bulletins may be found on the Worship page.
CtK is holding its annual Undies Sundays this summer to collect underwear for people served by Haven of Rest in Akron. Watch for details.
The St. Pauly used clothing shed is open for your donations of clothing, sheets, linens, shoes, belts, purses, and stuffed animals!
Because there are not in-person Sunday school classes, Christ the King shares a weekly Faith Formation resource, taking faith home, for all ages. Go to the Christian Education page for a link to the current resource.
The paper recycling bin in the parking lot is emptied every other Friday and is sometimes very full several days before the empty date. Please look at the CtK calendar to know when the next emptying is scheduled.
Christ the King has a COVID-19 Relief Fund available for church and local community members who are enduring financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Call the church office for more information. This fund was created with funds from the CtK Endowment.
Christ the King will host American Red Cross Blood drives on these days because of their important role in keeping people healthy. You must schedule an appointment at redcrossblood.org to donate.
