Here’s what’s happening at Christ the King:
Outdoor worship services with Holy Communion are celebrated at 9:30 AM on Sundays. Join us in your car, and listen to the service on 90.1 FM on your radio. The radio signal has been amplified, so you can hear the service from anywhere in the parking lot!
Each weekend, Pastor Matthew records a worship service and shares it on the CtK Twinsburg channel of YouTube.com.
Links to weekly worship bulletins may be found on the Worship page.
Wednesday, February 17th, is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. An online worship service will be shared, and there will be a drive-in worship service with Holy Communion at 7:00 PM.
TIME’S RUNNING OUT! Christ the King will hold photography sittings with Universal Church Directories on Monday, February 22nd, from 2:00 PM until 8:30 PM. Make your appointment by going to ucdir.com and entering CtK’s code and password. See the Weekend Messenger for the code and password and for details on submitting your own photo for inclusion in the directory.
You may order from an array of Easter flowers to decorate the narthex for Easter Sunday, April 4th. Please notify the office of which flowers you would like by Sunday, March 7th. See the Weekend Messenger for details. Pastor Matthew is not currently visiting homebound members, so please take your flower home after 9:30 AM Easter Sunday worship.
The Annual Meeting of Christ the King will be held in the parking lot at 10:30 AM Sunday, March 28th, and proceedings will be broadcast over 90.1 FM. Ministry leaders are asked to submit their 2020 ministry reports to the office by Sunday, March 7th, so the report will be completed in time for review at least one week before the meeting.
Endowment grant requests for spring are due to the Endowment mailbox by Sunday, March 28th.
The St. Pauly used clothing shed has reopened for your donations of clothing, sheets, linens, shoes, belts, purses, and stuffed animals!
Because there are not in-person Sunday school classes, Christ the King shares a weekly Faith Formation resource, taking faith home, for all ages. Go to the Christian Education page for a link to the current resource.
The paper recycling bin in the parking lot is emptied every other Friday and is sometimes very full several days before the empty date. Please look at the CtK calendar to know when the next emptying is scheduled.
Christ the King has a COVID-19 Relief Fund available for church and local community members who are enduring financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Call the church office for more information. This fund was created with funds from the CtK Endowment.
Christ the King will host American Red Cross Blood drives on these days because of their important role in keeping people healthy. You must schedule an appointment at redcrossblood.org to donate.
