Here’s what’s happening at Christ the King:
Everyone is welcome at weekly worship on Sundays at 10:00 AM. Services are led by supply pastors. See Worship page for details.
During the August 9thTwins Days Double Take Parade, CtK offered cold water and the useofits restroom facilities. During the Twins Days fireworks that same evening, CtK handed out ice cream sandwiches and again had its restrooms available.
CtK has completed its annual “Undies Sundays” collection of underwear & socks for clients of Haven of Rest Ministries in Akron. The collection was blessed at worship Sunday, July 12th, and delivered to Haven of Rest the following day. (See photo at right.)
Several ongoing events are on the CtK calendar:
- Women’s Bible Study will meet again at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 25th.
- All men are invited to meet for breakfast at Fresh Start on the Twinsburg Square at 9:00 AM, usually on the first Thursday of the month. The next breakfast will be on Thursday, September 3rd.
- Culture Quest dinner for August will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 26th, at Alejandro’s Amigos Taqueria in Stow. A maximum of 18 people may sign up.
- Whenever there is a fifth Sunday in a month, Christ the King serves a free meal to the community. Everyone is invited to dine! The next meal will be from 4:00 to 5:30 PM on Sunday, August 30th, 2026. Here is the complete community meal schedule.
- The next quarterly AmeriQuest dinner out will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 2nd, at Welshfield Inn at 24001 Main Market Road, Burton. A maximum of 18 people may sign up.
- Christ the King hosts monthly Red Cross blood drives. The next drive will be Tuesday, August 11th, from 12 PM to 6 PM.
The used clothing shed is available for your bagged donations of clothing, sheets, linens, shoes, belts, purses, and stuffed animals! Please place your donations in tied bags. For more information, see the Used Clothing Shed page.
See our current newsletters for more details about what’s happening at CtK. Typical CtK office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Call ahead (330-425-7377) outside these times to verify access to the building.
If you are interested in using a room at Christ the King for an organization, please complete this Building Use Agreement Form and submit it to office@ctktwinsburg.com or mail it to the church. The Church Council reviews all requests to determine whether or not the use is in keeping with the congregation’s mission and what, if any, fees will be charged.
