There is an ongoing collection of clean, gently worn t-shirts, underwear, and socks to be given to clients of the Salvation Army.
Christ the King participates in activities that benefit members of local communities through its active Outreach Ministry. Activities include:
- Mitten Tree to provide winter mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves for people served by local pantries
- Hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive every month
- Ongoing collection for Salvation Army mentioned above
- Serving dinner at Haven of Rest, Akron whenever there is a fifth Saturday in a month
- Serving a free meal to the community from 4:00 – 5:30 PM whenever there’s a fifth Sunday in a month
- Maintaining a used clothing drop-off shed
- Offering water to spectators at the annual Twins Days Double Take Parade
